Green Development Standards Campaign — Mississauga

The City of Mississauga is revising their rules for new buildings (their “Green Development Standards”, or GDS). This is our chance to ensure that those rules are as rigorous, ambitious, and clear as they need to be to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Mississauga.

Did you know that buildings make up 52% of community emissions in Mississauga? Energy efficient homes are critical in the fight against climate change — they help decrease greenhouse gas emissions, protect the environment, and create more climate resilient neighbourhoods.

Our Mississauga volunteer team is working hard to build momentum around strong new GDS (and having lots of fun doing it).
